Derbyshire’s best kept secret: Wedding at Cavendish Hall
To go from the ceremony to the reception, Dan and Hannah went in style courtesy of Vintage Volkswagon Weddings, and we took a quick detour in the peaks near Stanage to catch a few portraits. This is something to consider in your planning if your venue doesn’t offer a sweeping landscape view! I always will discuss alternative locations, sunsets and plan B’s for portraits. I also think its really nice for couples to have a few minutes away from everyone to catch their breath. Once we finished with the portraits we headed to the reception at the Cavendish Hall in Derbyshire, just outside of the Chatsworth estate. It is a beautiful building with a stained glass ceiling, Food was provided by the wonderful team at Homemade in Netheredge, and whilst we were out shooting some quick sunset portraits, the room was transformed into a dance floor for the caleigh. I want to say a big thank you to Hannah and Daniel for asking me to shoot their lovely day.
