Château d’Estoublon

Just one of the many locations we visited the Chateau is a historic estate with guided tours through vineyards and olive groves, highlighting the region’s rich winemaking tradition. Visitors can savour Provencal wines during tastings, offering a concise yet captivating experience of the château’s legacy.

Canadian cool meets Provencal warmth.

Allie and Davis’s elopement was definitely a highlight for me this year. I managed to squeeze in some sun early October and experience the best Provence has to offer. I cant thank Allie and Davis enough for their generosity, kindness and trust allowing me to work creatively within their intimate elopement. Here is a taste of we got up to:

Chateau Des Alpilles: Getting Ready

Bright and early, the wedding squad gathered at Chateau des Alpilles for a morning of makeup magic by Nelli. Laughter echoed through the chateau as Mary and Allie geared up for the day, I worked my lens magic, capturing the anticipation of the first look and the candid moments in between because that’s my thing!

Saint-Remy-de-Provence Stroll.

With the morning festivities wrapped up, we all headed to Saint-Remy-de-Provence village for a leisurely stroll. Cobblestone streets, charming cafes, and sun-kissed moments marked the path as the we enjoyed the laid-back vibes of the village, giving a nod to the artistic spirit of the region.

Les Baux-de-Provence: Lunch and Love in the Air

Following a scenic drive to Les Baux-de-Provence, Le Bouchon Rouge welcomed the party for a typical Provencal lunch. Allie, Davis, and their friends indulged in local flavors, setting the tone for an afternoon of exploring. A post-lunch photoshoot in Les Baux-de-Provence added a touch of romance to the day.

Château d’Estoublon: Sipping and Savouring in Vineyard Style – A Provence Wedding Highlight

The journey continued with a visit to Château d’Estoublon, where we enjoyed a guided tour through vineyards and olive groves. Tasting the best wines of the region, we soaked in the Provencal ambiance, creating memories against the backdrop of picturesque landscapes (and the photobombing helicopter giving real “Succession” vibes.)

Mont Paon: Saying “I Do”

Mont Paon, the pinnacle of the day, witnessed a heartfelt ceremony officiated by Carole. Amidst the rolling hills, there was a subtle nod to Van Gogh, whose artistic spirit once graced the nearby town of Saint-Remy-de-Provence. During sunset, Allie and Davis exchanged vows, surrounded by the beauty that inspired one of the great masters. There wasn’t a dry tear on that hill!

Auberge Saint Remy: Dining and Delighting in Love – A Provence Wedding Culmination

As the day gracefully transitioned into evening, the celebration moved to Auberge Saint Remy. The restaurant, already booked for the intimate party, prepared a 10 course taster menu paired with incredible wines from the region and Champagne. Amidst dinner, laughter, and clinking glasses, the Canadian love affair with Provence reached its peak. I was incredibly lucky to join the party, and was able to taste the delights created by this Michelin-starred restaurant.

At 10 pm, I took my final shot, concluding a day that etched a love story in pixels—blending Canadian warmth with Provencal charm.
