In another life Yellow Arch was a nuts and bolts factory. This Edwardian building is the hub of Sheffield’s musical heritage

Why have a cake cut when you can have a cake Piñata

Faye and Jack chose the industrial backdrop of Kelham Island in Sheffield to hold their Yellow Arch Wedding. Once an industrial hotspot, now a centre of culture and creativity. I love shooting around Kelham as there is always new mural, or wonderful textures to shoot against.

I met Faye and her crew at Brocco on the Park where she opened a gorgeous gift from Jack and spent the rest of morning getting ready in gorgeous light. MY FAVE! Brocco is super convenient to be close to town, and it has a bit of luxury to make it feel really special. Also their food is incredible. I would highly recommend coming here, especially if your families are meeting for the first time, you could go for a meal there the night before and then just tip toe back upstairs so you are all ready for preparations the next day.

The White room in yellow arch is where they held their Humanist ceremony with the HIGHLY recommended Helen Jubb I don’t think I ever left a ceremony she conducted without wet eyes. The decor is rich with reds and yellows an lots of gorgeous textures.

We hung out in the courtyard whilst Greedy Greek brought out the delicious canapes, and I think this was the point the hula hoops came out 🙂 We had a quick mooch around the streets for some relaxed portraits ( THANK YOU SEXY LIGHT!)

If you are music fans, Yellow Arch is a live music venue, so are kitted out for a proper gig style reception. Before we kicked of the party, the Cake Pinata came out in true rebel style, filled with customised love hearts inside.

I love it when m couples come up with imaginative ways to celebrate their day. Faye and Jack really pulled out the stops when it came to creating a gorgeous space for their friends and family to celebrate with them. Big love to you both xx
