Questions? I got em answered

These are my most frequently asked questions, paired with the answers! If you have any more, let me know and I will do my best to answer them for you. I hope you come away feeling super informed!

How long does it take to deliver the images?

It usually takes up to 3 – 6 weeks for me to hand edit all the content from your wedding. I will then post out a little package with your USB drive, your private web gallery, and some other goodies.

Can my guests view and order photos?

Yes they can! I create an online gallery for you and your guests that is password protected. They will be able to view and download images from the gallery or order high quality copies of individual pictures from myself.

How many images will we receive?

This will depend on a few things such as how many hours of coverage you have or how many guests are at your wedding. From a 5 hour shoot you can expect between  200-400 images. Longer appointments with a larger guest list generate more pictures, and a full day could be represented by up to 800 images.

Do you offer engagement sessions?

I do indeed! This is a good option if you would like a bit of practice in front of the camera, or if you are making save the date cards with your lovely faces on them! A shoot costs £150 for up to two hours. A free engagement shoot is offered with the “Wild Thing” package

Do you take traditional wedding photos?

I would describe my style as documentary with elements of fine art portraiture. For the most part I shoot discretely, mindful of the unique lighting and compositional aspects of your day. For portraits and group shots I am comfortable and skilled at giving direction, even to large numbers, to achieve beautiful pictures that capture the different personalities and emotions of your friends and family. I always snap away between poses as unposed shots are often the most photogenic.

Can we meet you?

Of course, and I insist. Choosing the right photographer is an important aspect of your planning so it is essential that we all feel that we are a good fit. After all, this is a day you will want to remember forever and it is my responsibility to capture it. I usually meet my couples in my studio in Sheffield, or sometimes a pub or a coffee shop. If that isn’t possible, a Zoom will do the trick.

This is very unlikely to happen, and hasn’t happened in the past. I do have a contingency in place as I am a part of a network of like minded photographers who would be able to take the reigns if something out of the ordinary should happen. A replacement photographer would have a similar style to me and I would still edit the images.
