Sarah + Chris’ Birdsall House Wedding: A Stately Home in North Yorkshire
Birdsall House Wedding
Sarah and Chris held their stunning wedding at Birdsall House in Malton North Yorkshire. This grade II listed house dates back to the late 16th century and has the most beautiful grounds, including ruins, peacocks and lush gardens. Birdsall House has so much to offer if you are a photographer! Beautiful natural window light to give me my favorite Rembrant style portraits and every corner just oozes with sophistication. This worked perfectly with Sarah and Chris’s style. Black Tie, a Martina Liana gown and flowers for days gave me a real feast for the eyes. I got to spend the morning with Sarah and Chris as they prepared for the wedding. Highlights include Sarah not being able to contain her excitement so kept popping her head out of her window to wave to arriving guests and watching Chris receive a thoughtful gift from his best man. Another perk of having a wedding at Birdsall House, is you have exclusivity of the grounds. I took Sarah and Chris for a loop around the grounds so we could take some portraits before the party started. There were some extra guests in the form of some baby frogs which had to make it into the set. I had a brilliant day working with the suppliers, coordinator and Owner of the estate. Below are links to the suppliers involved. If you would like to see more of my work you can see it here.
