If you are also looking for a wedding photographer and want to know about the packages I offer, you can see them here.

It a two-hundred-year-old Georgian stone built farm, so you can imagine it is full of character. You also have the option of having the ceremony outside or in the beautiful grain loft. The gardens are stunning, and there is plenty of room for a tipi or marquee. There were so many options when it came to photographing here, as the buildings are beautiful inside and out.

The largest and most luxurious cinema in Sheffield in the 20’s

The Abbeydale Picture house is probably one of the most unusual wedding venues in Yorkshire. I don’t think many people can say they tied the knot in a 1920’s Cinema! This venue evokes pure nostalgia, and the ambient light is oh so romantic. This is pure camera fodder for me! The 4:3 aspect screen    (the biggest in Sheffield) is the perfect backdrop for the ceremony.  The fly tower situated behind the screen is ideal for banqueting style dinner and speeches.

It is suited for smaller wedding parties, but you can easily have a smaller ceremony and ramp it up at a nearby location for the evening do. 99 Mary Street is a flexible space with beautiful exposed brick and a courtyard for the kids to run around or for some fresh air. I love photographing portraits around this venue. You can see a bit more abut how I work here.

A 16th Century Ivy Clad Mansion

This ivy clad mansion will give you some serious stately 16th century vibes! I have photographed a wedding with around 80 guests with the all singing and dancing disco and three-course meal. I have also snapped for a very intimate wedding with a party of six. below you can see Rebecca and Luke, they tied the knot at Sheffield Town Hall and then made their way to Whitley Hall. This Sheffield wedding venue near the center is peaceful as it is snuggled in a valley, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

It is a 1920’s warehouse space in Sheffield’s industrial quarter and home to the brilliant Percy and Lily’s two Citroen H Vans transformed to bring tasty street food from around the globe! The industrial venue is super versatile and has bags and bags of character. I was so lucky to have shot for Justine and Trudi at their ceremony in this special space.

A 17th Century house with a working Cider Press

Not quite Sheffield, but close enough! Woodthorpe Hall is a 17th century private house located in just on the edge of the peak district in North Derbyshire. Considering there is a limited amount of weddings they hold in a year, I have been lucky enough to shoot here a number of times. You can hold the ceremony with a celebrant right next to the cider press which is pretty special. Jess and Calum hired the most beautiful marquee to host their reception. Check out the gorgeous foliage on the tables from my lovely pal Campbell’s Flowers. Winner!

I’ve shot so many weddings in Sheffield.
But I’ll never tire of it.

Steel City heritage with a contemporary urban setting

Looking for a wedding venue situated on a 900 year old man-made Island? That old chestnut? Why not take a look at the Kelham Island Industrial Museum. It is a striking Victorian building that can accommodate up to 200 guests, and also has spaces within for more intimate wedding parties. I love shooting here as there is a real contrast of the industrial with the romantic.

39 Acres of Whirlow Brook park should o it!

This is a luxurious and traditional wedding venue in Sheffield. The manor house sits on an elevated terrace with stunning views of the garden. It is located four miles from Sheffield City Center, and a stone throw away from the peaks if you are wanting some photos in the countryside. I had a lovely time shooting for Katie and Luke.

Just a little way out of Sheffield is Cordwell Valley. Among rolling hills on the edge of the Peak District is this beautiful venue which is surrounded by immaculate  English gardens.
